Every Idle Word You Speak
We all know that what we say matters.
You know that right?
Ok, even if you didn’t, now you do. ?
Life and Death are in the power of the tongue. – Prov. 18:21
We’ve all heard it so many times it’s practically become cliche.
So why bother bringing it up?
because it’s true…
but more than that, because what we confess; what we declare matters.
In the natural realm, when you declare your intentions and desires your subconscious mind goes to work figuring out how it can make happen what you believe to be true.
This is why people who believe they have bad luck tend to have worse “luck” than the rest of us.
It’s also why people who believe they have good luck tend to have better “luck.”
Luck doesn’t exist…
You are the result of your beliefs (Prov. 23:7).
In the spiritual realm, things get even more interesting.
As a child of the Most High God, what you say carries the authority of heaven.
When you declare something (even something negative like “bad things come in 3’s”) the spiritual realm goes to work to make it happen.
When you mindlessly confess that ‘bad things always happen to me’ or ‘why does this always happen to me?’ when something bad happens, you are using your God-given authority to tell all the angels and demons that this is what is supposed to happen to you.
This is why Christ tells us we “will give an account for every idle word we speak.” – Matt. 12:36
What are you confessing over yourself?
Are you improving your life or hurting it?
Are you giving the spiritual realm and your subconscious permission to bring you good or bad?
Need some help creating a Biblically based confession that will empower you and the spiritual realm to change your life for good?
