God, The Devil Or My Own Foolishness
It’s funny how God works.
There has been a lot going on and I’ll be honest… I can’t tell if it’s the result of God, the devil, or my own actions.
Maybe a bit of each. Ha!
I’ll tell you what though. I can see how God is working it all together for my benefit.
There’ve been ups and downs and everything is starting to come together. There is finally that light at the end of the tunnel.
The whole experience has taught me a few things.
- God is in control
- The devil is a pawn
- The sooner you trust God the sooner you see the light
- It doesn’t matter where your troubles come from. God is working it for your good.
- How long you spend in the wilderness is up to you.
You can spend 40 days in the wilderness (Yeshua, Matt 4:1-11) or you can die there (Israel, Numbers 32:13)
The choice is up to you.
Will you trust God to provide for you and meet your needs like Yeshua?
Or will you be like unbelieving Israel who was taken out of slavery and shown miracle after miracle and given supernatural provision after supernatural provision and still didn’t learn to trust God?
The moment you trust God to fulfill His promises you will see your way out of the wilderness.
There will be trials in the wilderness.
There will be temptation in the wilderness.
But make no mistake about it. When you show yourself faithful, you will enter your promised land.
God is patient. And sometimes that patience means allowing you to wander in the wilderness until you recognize His provision and trust that He is faithful.
And sometimes that patience means allowing you to wander in the wilderness until you recognize His provision and trust that He is faithful.
So…
How long do you want to remain in the wilderness?
40 days? 40 years? The rest of your life?
What have you refused to trust God for?
It’s time to trust that God is good and for you to cross your Jordan into the promised land.
