Obedience And Kingdom Power
I have a little trick I use to hear from God when I’m feeling overwhelmed.
It also works when I’m overly emotional about a subject.
It’s nothing fancy,
but it works.
And I’m all about what works.
So after asking God about the ministry and which direction I should take it; He gave me a simple vision.
He told me to continue to reach out to the poor and homeless. He told me to continue to share the truth with those in deception that He brings into my life.
In short, He told me to demonstrate the Kingdom to those around me.
It wasn’t necessarily what I wanted (I wanted stadiums full of people and huge Reinhard Bonnke style healing crusades).
It doesn’t feed my ego and won’t get me on the cover of Christianity today…
But that’s ok.
It may be the foundation for something “greater” or it may be that I spend my days doing just this.
I don’t really care because greatness in God’s eyes is obedience to Him.
Greatness to God is helping others to be obedient:
Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. -Yeshua (Matthew 5:19)
That means, even the little things that bring no honor to ourselves are great in God’s eyes… if they are done out of obedience.
What is He calling you to today?
Is there a nudging from Holy Spirit that you’ve been ignoring?
Avoiding?
Running from?
Today is the day to take action.
Go get em…
-Andre
